Refund Policy

3.0        CANCELLATION & AMENDMENT

3.1        In the event of Melaka International Trade Centre agreeing to any request for cancellation due to any unavoidable herein directly or indirectly occasioned by or through or in consequence of war, strikes, riots and acts of God or conditions beyond the control of MITC, the organizer will be refunded with full amount subject to if there’s any prior arrangement of the event such as food tasting rehearsal as stated in clause 3.2. However, in the event of any change of statutes, orders and/or policies made by the Federal or State Government, such situations will be not considered as Force Majeure events and administrative charges will still be imposed by Melaka International Trade Centre due to cancellation made by the Organizer.

 3.2        CANCELLATION OF EVENT WITH PRIOR ARRANGEMENT

3.2        In the event of Melaka International Trade Centre agreeing to any request for cancellation related to the above stated events in clause 3.1, Melaka International Trade Centre shall impose the penalty stated herein below for the consideration of any prior arrangement of the event including but not limited to food tasting, pre arrangement and/or event rehearsal, whereby the organizer agrees that Melaka International Trade Centre shall forfeit the deposit paid the organizer in accordance with the following scale:

3.3        CANCELLATION & AMENDMENT OF EVENT POLICY OTHER THAN CLAUSE 3.1 & 3.2

 3.3        The following charges are applicable for cancellation or postponement no longer than 6 months from the reserve dates and other changes in dates after confirmation of the event. Cancellation / changes must be received in writing. Penalty will be imposed based on the total of charges of agreed quotation price. Any postponement longer than 6 months and must be within the same calendar year from the reserve dates shall not be entertained by Melaka International Trade Centre.

·    Cancellation between 3 months or less before the event                      100% of total charges

3.4      Should there be any legal disputes arises, all the cost incur shall be bear by client until full settlement is made. 

3.5        All amounts already paid by organizer and related to clause 3.2 and 3.3 shall be forfeited absolutely to Melaka International Trade Centre Sdn. Bhd. without prejudice to Melaka International Trade Centre Sdn. Bhd’s right to recover the balance of the agreed liquidated damages.

3.6        This scale of charges will apply only from the dates Melaka International Trade Centre Sdn. Bhd’s receive written notice by letter or fax. In addition to this scale, the organizer will be liable for any specific costs incurred on his behalf by Melaka International Trade Centre Sdn. Bhd. These terms cannot be varied under circumstances.
